Archer City's 1964 State Title Still Stands
The Wildcats' only championship came 60 years ago with a 13-6 victory over Ingleside.
Archer City won its sole state football title in 1964, capturing the 1A crown by defeating Ingleside 13-6. That championship remains the program's only UIL state title.
The Wildcats will look to build on that legacy this season as preseason preparations continue.
