Brazoswood's Last Title Run Was Nearly 50 Years Ago
The Clute program won its only state championship in 1974, when it beat Mesquite 22-12 in 4A.
Clute Brazoswood has one state football title on its resume, a 4A championship from 1974 when the team defeated Mesquite 22-12. That championship remains the program's only trip to the top.
With that title now approaching its 50th anniversary, the Brazoswood program will be looking to add to that legacy this season.
