Gorman Panthers chase history 48 years after state title
Last championship came in 1976 when they beat Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco 18-6 in Class B.
Gorman won their only state title in 1976, capturing the Class B championship with an 18-6 victory over Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco. That remains the program's lone UIL crown.
The Panthers are back this season looking to add to that legacy. It's been nearly five decades since Gorman last hoisted a state trophy.
