Palacios chasing first title since 1964
Program's only championship came 60 years ago with a shutout over Marlin
Palacios won its lone state title in 1964, blanking Marlin 12-0 in the 2A final. That championship remains the program's standard as the team enters this season.
Six decades later, Palacios is still hunting for a second crown. The program will look to end that drought this fall.
