Wills Point chasing first title since 1965
Tigers haven't won state since shutting out White Deer nearly 60 years ago.
Wills Point's only state championship came in 1965, when the Tigers defeated White Deer 14-0 in the 1A title game. That's nearly six decades without another crown.
The program will be hunting for its second state title this season. For a fanbase that's waited this long, this year could finally be the one.
